BURNSVILLE, MN – Tonight, President Trump and one or more attendees were shot and wounded at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. Joe Teirab, candidate for Congress in Minnesota's Second District, issued the below statement in response:

“This act of apparent political violence shocks the very core of our democracy. I’m praying for President Trump, the attendee who was killed, and any others at the rally who were injured in tonight’s assassination attempt.

“Now is the time to disavow political violence of all types and rally around former President Trump through his recovery. It’s time to save our country.”
