Joe Teirab Announces Big Q1 Fundraising Numbers - (04/15/24)

BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Joe Teirab, candidate for Congress in Minnesota’s Second Congressional District, announced today that his campaign raised over $538k in Q1, bringing the total raised to just under $842k in five months. The campaign has just under $662k cash on hand. It is clear that Teirab is the only candidate for the Republican nomination that has the ability to go toe to toe with Angie Craig.

“I’m humbled and grateful for the continued support for our campaign to beat Angie Craig,” said Teirab. “I am determined to put together the resources and the message that can win in November. We know that Angie Craig is going to be funded by New York and Hollywood Liberals and it is important that we come into this fight prepared.”

Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional District has become a top target this cycle. Last month, the Cook Political Report moved this race from ‘likely Democrat’ to ‘lean Democrat’ specifically because of the Teirab campaign’s strong fundraising out the gate and Teirab’s “stronger biographical fit for the district.”

“Our campaign is ready to take on Angie Craig and people are taking note. The Cook Political Report shifted the race in Republicans’ favor because of the campaign we are running and the resources we are putting together. We have the message and team to get the job done.”

The majority of Teirab’s impressive fundraising quarter came from grassroots donors, with over 90% of donations being small dollar donations and the average individual contribution being less than $40.
