BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Today, the Joe Teirab for Congress campaign officially filed for office and released its first ad of the election cycle. The ad calls out Angie Craig and Joe Biden’s border crisis and highlights Teirab’s track record as a fighter – from his time in the Marines to his time in the courtroom as a state and federal prosecutor.

“Angie Craig has been a loyal supporter of Joe Biden’s open border agenda and she has voted against common sense border security measures – and now we are seeing the consequences of that,” said Teirab. “The Democrats’ border crisis has turned every state into a border state, including Minnesota. I saw this firsthand as a state and federal prosecutor – I had to hold fentanyl traffickers accountable because of the open border crisis caused by Angie Craig and the Democrats.”

Minnesota’s Second Congressional District is a top target this election cycle with Teirab as the candidate. Cook Political Report recently moved the race in Republicans favor after pointing to Teirab’s background and the strength of his campaign.

“We need new leadership that is going to take the border crisis seriously and bring common sense solutions to the problems facing Minnesotans right now. We need to bring conservative representation back to MN02 and that’s why in November we will send a Republican back to Congress in the Second District and President Donald Trump back to the White House,” Teirab concluded.
